Here are general laundry guide tips about how to wash and dry your clothes in the most gentle and eco-friendly way. One of the best is to read and understand your clothing care label.
TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR NEW CLOTHES
We advise to make your PONEY clothes last longer and kept looking at the best condition. Special in material products may require special care ā this will appear on the product's care label or tag.
BEFORE WASHING
- Sort your clothes by colour and fabric.
- Empty pockets, button up and zip up the clothes before wash.
- Clothes with prints or special textures need protection should be turned inside out.
MESH LAUNDRY BAG
Suggest used to:
- Protect clothes with embroidery, gold and silver print.
- Protect clothes which are fragile when wet e.g. tulle, chiļ¬on, satin etc.
- Prevent thread or knitted yarns clothes from tangling.
WASHING DETERGENT
Itās important to read and understand you use a correct detergent.
Washing delicate clothing, use a mild detergent, which will help to protect your clothes but will still get them clean.It will also help if you choose the hand-wash, gentle, or delicate setting on your machine when washing diļ¬erent types of garments.
- Follow the dosage instructions on the correct detergent.
- Cotton: Use correct detergent powder or liquid suitable for coloured or white clothing. Unless the clothes are white, use washing liquid suitable for coloured clothing that does not contain bleach.
- Viscose and linen: Use mild liquid detergent.
- Wool, silk, down and feathers: Use wool detergent or send to experienced laundry service.
- Avoiding used fabric softener that helping preserve the colours as much as possible and spare the environment at the same time.

Washed on a synthetic cycle, while two lines represent the gentle or wool wash cycle. Machine laundered only setting gentle and or/ reduced time for delicate items.
A laundry mesh bag can be used.
Hand Wash
Dissolve detergent completely before adding garment.
Gently wash the garment, but do not rub or wring. Rinse with fresh water. Give the garment a low spin or dry it by rolling in a towel. Avoid wringing and soaking.

Air drying is the most gentle way to dry clothes except for down/feathers, which must be tumble dried so that they do not go mouldy. Shake the garment before hanging it up. Knitted garments should lay ļ¬at to dry. Viscose, silk and wool should never be tumble dried.
